If they persue this career they can be set for the future on money when they get out of college and get a good job since this is a well paying career. They can hope to design a building that gives people jobs or gives them a place to live.

Steel is one of the most used materials in todays architecture, it restricted construction back then because they were not able to build structures quite as tall or as sturdy.

Greek roads were made of mainly dirt and used for transporting goods, Roman roads were made from stone and went across bridges and mainly used for transporting troops.

The Hotel of Doom in North Korea is an example of a modern day pyramid that was never completed, its intent was to be lived in by hundreds of people insted of dead people, the fact that it was made to live it initially.

The main reason for roads now is transportation of any kind, the toll roads they have and tax revenues which we have to pay in order to fund the roads.
